Terms and Conditions and Requirements for Entry
Who can apply?
- Any company that is established in Germany can apply for the EuroCloud Deutschland Awards. By ‘established’, we mean that the company has to either have their headquarters, or at least one office, in Germany and its products or services are offered on the German market.
- Companies that are applying for the category ‘Start-Up’, can not have been active in the German market for longer than 3 years.
- The winners of the EuroCloud Deutschland Awards can automatically participate as nominees in the EuroCloud Europe Awards and the company and/or product will be presented at the European Congress in June. We will cover the participation fee of 250 € for you.
- The application must be in English.
Is a Membership of EuroCloud Deutschland a prerequisite for participation?
- Membership of EuroCloud is not a prerequisite for a participation.
Do application fees apply?
- No, the application for a EuroCloud Deutschland Award is free.
Privacy Notice
- All application documents, data and presentations by EuroCloud Deutschlan and the judges are kept confidential and used only for purposes of application processing, appraisal and any presentation as part of the award ceremony.
Nominees and winners are determined by the judges. The decision is final. The decision of the panel of judges will be announced after the end of the application deadline to www.eurocloud.de. Should there be less than three companies that apply to a particular category, EuroCloud Deutschland reserves the right not to award anyone for that category.
Application Process
The application process starts with completing the online application form at http://de.eurocloud-awards.eu. At the end of the form you have the option to send us your completed application documents in the file upload option. These should include:
- A brief profile, with reasons for why your company should win the prize (max. 1 A4 page)
- Your product or business presentation. You have a free hand in the design of how this shall be presented – but please make sure that our judges are provided with meaningful information! Make clear, why your solution deserves an award.
Important:
The application language is in English.
Please send only one file that contains the short profile and corporate presentation. We accept only PDF files no larger than 10 MB and the size should be no more than 15 pages.
The application deadline is 03/04/2011. The nominees will be announced in early May. The presentation of the Awards will be held on 5/17/2011, on the eve of the EuroCloud Deutschland Congress in Cologne in an exclusive setting.
